We love Castles of Burgundy. We have owned a copy for over a decade, I purchased expansions from magazines and the BGG Store, I purchased the 20th Anniversary edition, which as nice, but still not up to standard of the primo euros in the hobby.
Castles of Burgundy: Special Edition has arrived, and it really made Jen's day! I painted up the miniatures which are basically just stand-ins for the Castle tiles and scoring standees. I opted to not go in for the optional acrylic tiles or the additional miniatures for other tile types. I am glad, as this game is plenty big without those additional and the component quality is good for us.
