Dead Reckoning - Pirating in the Golden Age while card crafting

Dead Reckoning is a great new card crafting, hand management, exploration, building and exploitation game. It is reasonably themed as being a Privateer. I wish there was more tie in to the national and colonial interests forever linked to Golden Age Piracy in the Caribbean - but the locations in Dead Reckoning, though interesting, are more abstracted than that would allow for.

To be honest, I have been using my painted Merchants and Marauders set wehen playing this game, but I think now I will pivot to playing with the minis from the game to avoid confusion in the future, as I have them painted now! SImple contrast paints with a few  highlights...
