Holiday Havok 2021 - a Blitz Bowl Tournament

Second annual Blitz Bowl tournament - Holiday Havok 2021!

We played over the course of a month, using second edition rules.

Last minute enter into the tournament made by Nurgle, who tied their first game 15 -15 vs the Dark Elves. They lost the second matchup 25 - 21 and the Dark Elves moved on. The Dark Elves squeaked by the South Sea Coast Breakers by a single point in a shootout - 29-28.

Dark Elves vs Skaven, mirroring the finish of the 2021 April Anarchy tournament!

This time however, the Dark Elves won. They didn't try to sign on muscle, like their Blood Bowl Team Manager counterparts did. Instead the ShadowKnifes came out swinging… and dodging. After an early score by the ever quick skaven team the Dark Elves put on their best rough faces and dominated the middle of the pitch for the rest of the match. Even when the rat men would line up three in a row, and make nifty move or two, or the gutter runner would be stabbing a lineman, the dark elf magic continued to flow and they took the final lead on a game ending TD, scored during multi-ball with a flourish leading to 6 points all at once. Even after the Gutter Punks successfully caused some carnage the dark elves from the Dunes took the win.

Thus the Dark Elf DuneStar ShadowKnives are crowned this years Blitz Bowl champions!

Next year - maybe we will use the Ultimate Edition for Holiday Havok 2022.
