This faction is simple to paint - just one large Harpy! More of a Titan Harpy - and she is collecting her eggs. People are always trying to steal the darn babies! Pirate players can pick on up and earn glory depending on how long they dare keep it, showing it around to buddies no doubt. But as long as one player has possession of an egg, the Harpy gets very an-ga-ry! She becomes a tempest of talons and feathers and will stop at nothing to get her egg(s) back!
I used contrast paints from Citadel to create my starting base layer on the water, the boat, the sea rocks, and the brown feathers. I then layered up from there with traditionally paints, going for an "owl-like" look on the titan Harpy. I'm very happy with the backs of the wings. The underside is a little sloppy, but good for table-ready play.
A fun addition to the large pantheon of Sea of Legends factions.
