I own and have played Gloomhaven over 30 times. The story was too 'big' and the gameplay too 'repetitive' for my wife to want to continue. I thought Jaws of the Lion might provide a tighter narrative, but we only made it 5-6 scenarios. These were fun to paint - I liked the characters. The miniatures are good, but the details get muddy in some places and the edges are not sharp, making some details hard to pick out at times for your average painter.
