The Expansions for Sea of Legends are numerous. I chose the Aztecs as the first to paint up - as the large Quetzalcoatl model looked fun and the rank and file Champions would be interesting to try with contrast paints.
The Champions are trying to find their stolen gold and return it to their god. If they can, the Aztecs will win! Players can seek out the gold for personal glory, but risk combat with the Aztecs.
I enjoy the interaction between the Aztecs and the Spanish. It is fun that the NPCs will act regardless of what the players are doing.
The Grey contrast paint from Citadel worked very well creating a base on the stone Guardians to work from. It was easy to add on some gold accents and mossy coverings.
