The first round of the Blood Bowl Team Manger tournament April Anarchy 2020 is complete! The results are as follows:
(1) Champions of Death 34
(12) Chaos All-Stars 32
The cheating ran rampant for the All-Stars, and was mostly successful, especially for Morg 'N Thorg, their captain! In the end, the chaos team barely missed out on upsetting the 2019 league champions.
(2) Black Fangs 21
(11) Nurgle's Rotters 33
The proud vampire lords couldn't get anything moving and the Rotter's really spread the pestilence around, making every matchup a cess pool of disease.
(3) Athalorn Avengers 53
(10) Grudgebearers 29
The Dwarves were out passed badly. And every star player they picked up had the idea to try to run or pass the ball! We are trying t hit the Avengers you guys, come on!! Haha... the Grudgebearers were just out done by the skill of the Elves.
(4) Lowdown Rats 31
(9) Zharr-Naggrund Ziggurats 11
Goblins ran circles around the confused bull centaurs and made sure no plan the hobgoblins invented came off as conceived.
(5) Skavenblight Scramblers 29

That infamous ogre freelancer Morg 'N Thorg showed up for both teams, and was ejected from all highlights he participated in! The uproar allowed the Dark Elves to cheat almost at will, stabbing and fouling ratmen left and right.

(7) Reikland Reavers 46
The Orc's Troll never made a successful tackle, but the Reavers hired a Wizard who always fireballed his own team! Reikland was fortunate that they also hired an Apothacary to successfully undo his shody magic work, and the Reavers Catchers stole the highlights.

My wife, the victor
I won one of the matchups, with the Dark Elves defeating the Skaven. I was very close with the Chaos team and the Orcs... I guess I am a gambler at heart and those cheaty teams are so fun. I can't believe I did so poorly with the Vampires. I think I may just not be as good as Jen is at this game. :)
