Descent 2nd Edition - Base Set Monsters
Ettins
My first monsters for Descent had to be the Ettins. I wanted to do a good job and spent time watching videos and acquiring new basing materials, including rocks, tufts, and basing texture paints.
Again I used Sorestro's YouTube tutorial for painting the Ettins. He was very helpful in helping me develop priming and blocking techniques. I'd never wet blended to this extent, nor had I left such high contrast on a finished mini, such as on the belly of the Ettin.

I was very happy with the results and these guys are ready to smash some heroes!
