Most of this expansion was painted with a colored primer (Army Painter Desert Yellow) and a mix of dip and painted on dip (Army Painter Strong Shade). I first used Dark Shade for a few, and these units turned out a little too dark. Strong shade was the way to go. By the end I was dipping units, spinning them on a drill, then thinning the dip with synthetic mineral turpentine.
