Citadel magnetic paint storage

After the carnage of Zombicide was done, the plan was to sit back and take a break from painting. At least until Dreadball arrives. This left some time to put away all the paints and supplies. Of course, this generated a new idea for storage, leading to a new project - the Magnetic Painter's Caddy. I searched for a plastic tackle box but found nothing the right size, so went with a wooden artist's box from Michael's. I added a thin layer of sheet metal to the bottom and then glued magnets to the bottom of each paint pot. What a mistake, do not try to glue magnets to plastic paint pots! The magnets pop off, most right away, some after a month. No doubt they will all eventually pop off. The good news is, drop the magnet in the paint and voila, the pot sticks to the bottom, no problem.
This way I can carry my paints around and not risk them becoming a gnarly mess to organize the next time I want to paint. A side bonus is when the pot is shaken, the magnet acts as a little agitator.
