Masters of the Universe - Clash for Eternia

Eternia Guard and Man-at-Arms

He-man is the focus of the story when watching or playing Masters of the Universe. But I loved the Man-at-Arms character. He was wise and had good sense, plus his armor and weapons were so cool. For the action figure, I loved the variety and asymmetry of his kit. An axe and a laser rifle? Love it.

In this game, Man-at-Arms leads a cadre of Eternia Guards; in the 80s show these guys were mostly in the background, ostensibly hanging around the Palace guarding the King and Queen of Eternia. In this game they venture out to adventure with the heroes and fight the baddies. Well, they take hits and bother the baddies, at least.

I think that all painted up they look like a coherent unit and are ready to take on the battle of the day.
